EPISODE CCX - CAPTAIN STUBING ARM WRESTLES MR. ROURKE

Broski, Eve-Stay, and Mr. Proteau were departing engineering en route to the bridge when the corporal's communicator came to life.

"Stauch to Broski."

"Go ahead, Sarge", the corporal responded.

"Are you available to meet me at the NCO Club?"  Broski grimaced.  "It's not more trouble is it?"

"Negative, Corporal", Stauch advised.  "We just need your assistance transporting DANA back to the holding area."

"Rojo, boss", the corporal replied.  "I'm on my way."

"We'll come with you", Proteau informed him.  "I'd like to show Eve-Stay around the ship a bit."

Broski eyed the Melk skeptically, then shrugged.  "Suit yourself, sir."

They wended their way through the corridors, following the corporal's lead.  Proteau acted as tour guide, pointing out areas of interest and explaining the layout of the decks.  Though able to understand a portion of the Melkinian dialect, Broski couldn't quite grasp the intricate weavings of conversation that tumbled out of the two aliens' mouths, and became increasingly agitated.  He doubled his speed, and swung around the next turn rapidly, in hopes of ditching them.

Proteau and Eve-Stay rounded the corner a few seconds behind the corporal and nearly tumbled over him as he stood rigidly still before them, transfixed by something further down the corridor.  The security officer opened his mouth to inquire why he'd stopped, but found he needed no explanation as he looked past Broski.

Several yards further down the hallway, two people dressed in Space Fleet attire were engaged in a loving embrace, their faces pressed hungrily together in a passionate kiss.  After several seconds of uncomfortable silence, but for the muted suction sounds coming from the couple, Broski cleared his throat loudly.

As one, the couple looked up suddenly, surprise and shame fighting for control of their features.  They stepped away from each other and began adjusting their uniforms as they tried to muster a small amount of dignity.

"I can explain this", VanTedly remarked defensively, taking a protective stance in front of Liz.
